Welcome back to the Forza Week in Review where it’s been, well, more than a week since we last checked in! Today we’re focusing on the Series 15 update for Forza Horizon 4, spotlighting some of the community’s favorite cars in Forza Horizon 4 this year, and looking ahead to a busy weekend of racing with the Forza Racing Championship. Let’s go!

Forza Horizon 4 – Series 15

Series 15 for Forza Horizon 4 is here and it’s brought with it a new hypercar masterpiece from Bugatti. The 2019 Bugatti Divo has been making fans of luxury performance drool since it was revealed back in August. Despite a price tag approaching $6 million, all 40 Divos were sold before the car was even announced. But fear not! The Divo is arriving in Forza Horizon 4 starting next week with the Autumn season, where you can add this epic car to your collection by finishing 50 percent of the season’s events.

Two classic cars last seen in Forza Motorsport 4 – the Koenigsegg CCGT and the Rossion Q1 – are also part of the Series 15 fun, as well as a new Horizon Business called Upgrade Heroes. The team at Playground Games have also added a new Showcase Remix called “Motorcross Purposes” and made some quality-of-life improvements to the Auction House, among other changes. Check out the story here on FM.net for more details, or watch the replay of Playground’s Series 15 livestream from PG HQ, which breaks down everything you need to know about the latest update:

Forza Monthly October

One of the highlights of the Forza Week in Review is celebrating the amazing creative work in the Forza community. From photography to livery work to amazing videos, it’s always inspiring to showcase the community’s boundless imagination. On this week’s edition of “Forza Monthly” we took that to a new level by interviewing painter PTG Fox on the show. While he’s been at the painting game since Forza Motorsport 5, Fox has recently made himself a community legend with his incredible “animated liveries” all created in the Forza paint tool.

On Monday’s show, Fox took us through his creative process, his inspiration, and the tremendous amount of skill (and patience!) it takes to create animated liveries. If you missed the show live, check out the replay below (fast forward to the 57-minute mark to see the start of Fox’s segment).

Elsewhere on “Forza Monthly,” we explored the Series 15 update in Forza Horizon 4 with Playground Games’ Matt Pickering and asked ForzaRC’s Alie Tacq the hard-hitting questions about the series as it stands now (starting at the 38-minute mark for Alie’s comments).

The next edition of “Forza Monthly” will air on November 18, starting at 11 a.m. Pacific on the Forza Mixer and Twitch channels.

Johniwanna’s Top 10 FH4 Cars of 2019

Since the launch of Forza Horizon 4, players have received a total of 93 cars from the game (25 cars available via the Car Pass, with another 68 arriving free to all players of the game). This week, viewers of Johniwanna’s “Tuesday Drive” show chose their favorite ten vehicles of 2019 from that list. Winners included the Hoonigan RS200, the Hudson Hornet, the 2019 Porsche 911 Carrera S, and more.

Did your favorite car make the list? Watch the replay on Mixer and find out!

Forza Racing Championship – Round 4 Begins

There’s just two weeks left of regular season competition in the Forza Racing Championship Invitational Series 2019. That means things are getting truly serious from the top to the bottom of the standings. As we enter the fourth and final round of racing (which will take place over the next two weeks, including the Last Chance Qualifier, which will air on November 2nd), all teams are eyeing their current points haul so far and adjusting their car builds and strategies accordingly. Here’s a look at the current standings heading into this week’s races, with all drop rounds accounted for:

Three of the teams at the top of the table – Red Bull Racing, Lazarus, and Williams – are sitting pretty ahead of the ForzaRC 2019 Finals. While there’s no question that those teams will make it to the finals, the fact that there are just eight points separating first through third place suggests that those upcoming finals are going to be thrilling at the top of the grid.

As we head into this week’s Saturday show, it’s worth noting the bubble teams – in particular the Fast Racers Forza and Team Highlands Racing teams, both of whom are fighting for that seventh guaranteed spot in the finals. Including the drop rounds, Team Highlands is currently 25 points behind their FRF rivals, which means THR will need a substantial points haul to vault them into the 7th place spot. Will it happen? Tune in on Saturday, October 26th starting at 10 a.m. Pacific to find out!

ForzaRC Inside Line – Mellish, Rich, & more

For more insight into the battles happening all over the grid in the ForzaRC, make sure you watch the replay of our “ForzaRC Inside Line” show. Hosted by ForzaRC analyst and top-tier driver Mellish, the show brings inside information and details that you can’t find anywhere else. On this week’s show, Mellish took viewers into a detailed breakdown of the points standings after Week 5, broke down what teams like THR and FRF need to do to guarantee their spot in the Finals, and looked ahead at what to expect from the car and track combinations coming to the final two weeks of regular-season competition.

This weeks’ show also features an interview with Team Highland Racing’s star driver Rich, who talks about what he’s learned about being a team-focused driver this season and how he looks at this weekend’s racing. Finally, Mellish breaks down the potential tuning strategies for the Week 7 match up by taking a close look at one of that week’s cars – the 2014 Lamborghini Dragonspeed Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo.

#ForzaFriday with Alie Tacq

With the ForzaRC regular season beginning to wind down, we’ll be welcoming the voice of the series – Alie Tacq – to the couch for today’s edition of #ForzaFriday. Join us live beginning at 10 a.m. Pacific on the Forza Mixer and Twitch channels as we get more of Alie’s thoughts on the racing so far, what to expect from the next two weeks of competition, and more. As always, we’ll be playing Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Motorsport 7, we’ll be hitting the Nürburgring for another edition of the Random Ring Race, and I’ll do my best to sweet talk Alie into playing some guitar for us.

Finally here’s a look at next week’s streaming schedule on the Forza channels:

Have a great weekend, everyone!
