This week we’ve got the latest on new events arriving in Forza Motorsport 7, three amazing giveaway events for Forza fans, a Cadillac Wagon that needs to be seen to be believed, and Will Arnett playing Forza 7!(?) This is no huge mistake, it’s the Forza Week in Review!

New Hoppers & Rivals

Last week we introduced a new batch of Rivals and Multiplayer Hoppers into Forza 7, including Multi-Division racing, an A-Class Breakout hopper, as well as IndyCars and Endurance ForzaGT series. We’ve received a bunch of great feedback  on the new events so far but we’ve also been listening to the kinds of events you’d still like to see in the game. Starting today, we’ve got two new Hopper events for you, including our first drift FM7 hopper. Check it out:

Exotic GT -- Get behind the wheel of a car in the Exotic GT division and pit its power against other drivers.

Unlimited Drift – RWD -- All Rear-Wheel Drive cars are permitted in this celebration of driving sideways.

In addition, we’ve got three new Rivals events that are available now:

Forza Trophy Trucks Division -- Throw down at Laguna Seca in these high-powered, highly tunable beasts.

Running Hardcore -- Tackle Circuit of the Americas GP in Hardcore mode! Challenge yourself with these Forza P2 division cars using forced assist settings, including no ABS, no TCS/STM, and manual w/ clutch.

Drifting the Valley -- Select your best tuned drifter from the Early Sport Touring division and show the world what you’ve got.

All of these new Rivals events can be found in the “Featured Events” channel in Rivals mode. Happy Rival-ing!

Specialty Dealer

There’s just a few days left to grab the cars currently available in the Forza Motorsport 7 Specialty Dealer. This week’s cars includes the 1970 Chevrolet El Camino Super Sport 454, the 2015 McLaren 570S Coupé, and the 2009 Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster. Remember: Each of these cars is currently only available via Specialty Dealer and each offers a bonus to your Car Collector score over and above its normal Car Collector value. Next week, you can look forward to a new crop of Specialty Dealer cars: the Chevrolet Impala Super Sport 409, the Volkswagon Type 2 De Luxe, and the Ferrari 250LM.

Will Arnett & Friends Play Forza

You might know Will Arnett as Gob Bluth from “Arrested Development,” as the voice of Batman in “The Lego Movie” and “The LEGO Batman Movie,” or for countless other roles on TV and film. What you might not know is that Arnett loves games and he put his skills to the test this past Monday in a special edition of “Game Chat” featuring Forza Motorsport 7. Arnett and fellow actors Ben Schwartz, Peter Giles, and Dennis Gubbins explored the game and played challenges set up by Turn 10’s own Elliott Lyons (aka RBW TRITON), who joined the group on the couch. Who was quickest behind the wheel? Watch and see!

Heavy Metal Affliction – Cadillac CTS-V Wagon

What is cooler than driving around in something that is sedate by its very nature but laden with heavy automotive weaponry? The answer is not much. The Cadillac CTS-V Wagon featured in this week’s edition of HMA checks practically all the boxes in the “cool” category. Owner Adam Cramer runs a car club called Avants where the concept is to share cars and “drive everything.”

This week’s HMA story takes a good look at his wagon and what made this car enthusiast a bonafide wagon lover. Don’t miss it!

#Forzathon – Vision Becomes Reality

The big prize this week in our weekend of #Forzathon in Forza Horizon 3? The legendary Porsche 959, which you can earn simply by creating a Bucket List in a Porsche. That’s a lot of reward for very little effort, so get on it! Here’s the rest of this weekend’s #Forzathon events:

That’s about it for today’s edition of the Week in Review. A quick reminder that our next update for Forza Motorsport 7 will include the new VIP double-rewards feature, where Forza 7 VIPs will earn a 2X base credit bonus after every race. We're aiming to have the update released next week, so stay tuned to FM.net for the very latest. Until then, have a great weekend and happy racing!
