Devon Motor Works is an American company that was founded in 2008 by entrepreneur Scott Devon. The company's stated focus is to undertake multiple design projects that have a common purpose of providing sculptural power with recognizable beauty. Devon's initial production vehicle, the Devon GTX supercar, made its debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elégance in the summer of 2009. The car, designed by Swede Daniel Paulin, begins life as a brand-new stripped-down Dodge Viper. Devon retains only the Viper's original chassis and engine, and when the finished car is complete, it's tough to see its Viper roots. During a private test session in August 2009, the GTX set a one-lap production car record at Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway of just 1:35.075.
