Forza Motorsport 4: Cars and Tracks Pages
Back in June, we unveiled the new ForzaMotorsport.net and, ever since, we’ve been working hard to bring you brand new features never before seen on the site. Our latest evolution of FM.net features a couple of big new features and at least one piece of functionality that I know a lot of you have been asking about. Here’s the breakdown:
If you’ve been following the Official Forza Motorsport Facebook page over the past few weeks, you know that we’ve been announcing our Forza 4 car roster on a daily basis. Now, announcing cars on Facebook is one thing but seeing the cars in all their glory and reading in-depth descriptions full of interesting and amusing anecdotes about the awesome automotive lineup in Forza 4—well, that’s the kind of content you’re only going to find on FM.net!
In our brand new Cars section, we’ll be providing you with descriptions of every car that will be part of the game when it launches this October. We’ll still continue to dole out cars on a daily basis during the week, giving a daily reason to come back the site and read all about the latest cars in the game. Over the next couple of days we’ll be filling out the Cars section with the cars we’ve announced so far and, from now until launch, look for new cars added to the list each week day!
What our Cars section will do for the vehicles in FM4, our new Tracks section will do for the circuits in the game. Here, you’ll find screenshots and write-ups of all of the tracks in Forza Motorsport 4. With a mixture of returning old favorites and brand new entries into the Forza Motorsport track catalog, stay tuned over the coming weeks for a look at all the great tracks in the game.
How to Get There
So how do you get to the Cars and Tracks pages? You’ll find both sections under the “Forza Motorsport 4” tab at the top of the page.
On the Cars page, you’ll see that cars are organized by manufacturers. If a manufacturer hasn’t been announced yet, you’ll see a “Coming Soon” notice on the page. Clicking on a manufacturer will take you to the currently announced cars within that brand. All you need to do is click the car thumbnail to bring up a picture and description of the car you want.
As you might expect, we won’t be announcing all cars from a certain manufacturer at the same time, so be sure to come back and check often for new announcements.
As with the Cars page, you can find the Tracks section of FM.net underneath the Forza Motorsport 4 tab.
Clicking on a track environment will take you to the detail page for that track, showing a description of the track, screenshots, and the different ribbons found for each track.
We hope you enjoy this next stage of development for FM.net. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for more great features on the site and, of course, more information on Forza Motorsport 4.
