Forza Motorsport ALMS Challenge -- April
The second round of the Forza Motorsport ALMS Challenge is here! Starting today, we’ve got a new car and track combination designed to test your racing skills to their limit. This month, we’re challenging you to step into the cockpit of the 2011 Porsche #17 Team Falken 911 GT3-RSR, a 455-horsepower monster that eats straights for breakfast and still has plenty of appetite left for the twisty bits. You’ll be taking all of that exquisite German power onto the lofty heights of the Bernese Alps Festival Course, the crown jewel track of Forza Motorsport 4, known for its intense elevation changes, high speeds, and unforgettable scenery.

Set your time in the second round of the ALMS Challenge today. After this event closes on April 30, the top 500 drivers on the leaderboard will earn championship points that will be added to last month’s total. The driver with the most points at the end of the series will win an ALMS Championship trophy!
This month, we’re proud to be working with the awesome Team Falken Tire race team. This amazing group of engineers, race drivers, and support staff have enjoyed tremendous success in the American Le Mans Series since starting in the series in 2008. In 2011 the team, under management of Derrick Walker, enjoyed its most successful season, with two wins, followed by a third team win during the 2012 campaign. Featuring drivers Bryan Sellers and Wolf Henzler, Team Falken Tire are looking for even more victories in the 2013 ALMS season.
Team Falken Livery Contest
In addition to racing in the Forza Motorsport ALMS Challenge in April, Falken is also inviting Forza fans to take part in a Forza Motorspot 4 livery contest being held on Falken’s official Facebook page. Players are encouraged to create a new design for the 2011 Porsche #17 Team Falken 911 GT3-RSR (available as part of the Porsche Expansion Pack for Forza Motorsport 4). The winning designer will see their livery recreated on a Team Falken race car at the season-ending Petit Le Mans race in October!
Guidelines for creating the Team Falken livery in Forza Motorsport 4 include keeping all logos in their existing location, incorporating Team Falken sponsors, and creatively integrating the traditional Falken “scallops” in the final design. Beyond that, the sky is the limit so get your best designs together within these stated guidelines and post your entry on the official Falken Facebook page. Good luck!
Stay tuned throughout the month of April as we feature interviews with the Team Falken Tire drivers and engineers and, in the meantime, check out the Team Falken Tire Web site at http://falkentire.com/ and be sure and follow them on Twitter for all the latest racing news from the team.
Forza Motorsport ALMS Challenge FAQ
What is the Forza Motorsport ALMS Challenge?
The Forza Motorsport ALMS Challenge is a season-long race series in Forza Motorsport 4 that ties closely to the 2013 ALMS season. For each race on the 2013 ALMS schedule, we’ll put up brand new Rivals event, using an ALMS car found in Forza Motorsport 4 (available either on disc or via DLC) and, wherever possible, the same track being raced in the real event. For ALMS events that feature race tracks not found in Forza Motorsport 4, we will use an alternate track.
After each event, the top 500 players will be awarded points (500 points for first place, 499 points for second place, and so on). The player with the most points at the end of the Forza Motorsport ALMS Challenge will be awarded a trophy. After each event, all participants will earn a car with a custom ALMS Challenge livery.
What car and track will we be driving in April?
