Getting Started: Nissan Fairlady Z Drift Setup

2003 Nissan Fairlady Z

Tuning Provided by: BLKJ Takahashi

Overview:

Car Class: S 912
Power: 450 HP
Torque: 420 lb-ft
Weight: 2,513

Description:

This car will feel and react much like the A Class S14, however it has more power and torque that will make it easier to break the rear tires loose.  Once again hitting the ideal line is crucial, as this set-up will not allow you to easily correct mistakes.  You will find that this car is very stable when sliding, and can also maintain a good amount of angle and speed.  Make sure to utilize the braking drift, along with the E-Brake if you are having problems getting this car to initiate.  Remember these set-ups are a starting point, so feel free to tinker around with them once you learn how the various tuning options will impact handling.
