Today, we have released a new video in the “Making of Forza
Motorsport 4” series. This video, entitled “The Making of Forza Motorsport 4:
Physics, Pirelli, and Performance” spotlights the development and refinement of
the genre-defining physics and car handling in the latest Forza Motorsport
game, as well as the partnership between Forza and renowned tire manufacturer
Pirelli. As you’ll see in the video, Pirelli was a crucial partner during the
development of Forza 4, providing Turn 10 Studios with reams of tire data from
their real-life research and development, as well as performing custom tests on
behalf of Turn 10 for game development purposes.
The result of this partnership is a new level of refined
performance and outstanding car handling in Forza Motorsport 4. Take a look at
the video and let us know what you think in the dedicated thread on the forums.
If you haven’t done so already, check out the March Pirelli Car Pack,
which was released last month and features incredible rides like the 2011 Aston
