In Forza Horizon, you’ll be able to drive the cars of
your dreams on the open roads of Colorado. Forza Horizon is where cars
belong; it’s about speed, style, and freedom of the open road and no
car embodies those words more than the 2013 SRT Viper. The Viper is the star of the Forza Horizon demo being shown off at this week’s Electronic Entertainment Expo
in Los Angeles. It's a car that perfectly illustrates the open-road
thrills that will be at your fingertips in the game that is powered by the
authentic Forza handling you’ve come to expect.
This all-American supercar is back and
better than ever, bringing sleek lines, heart-pounding acceleration and
tire-smoking driftability to the open roads of Forza Horizon. At the heart of this road-devouring snake is a totally refined all-aluminum, mid-engine, 8.4 liter V-10 delivering a class-topping 640 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque. The Viper is capable of speeds of up to 206 mph and will catch nearly anything
in its path and leave it in a trail of dust and tumbling leaves. Reigning
in all that power are 14-inch vented rotors with four-piston Brembo
calipers, stability control, and launch control. Weight reduction results
in the best power-to-weight ratio yet for a Viper. So head out on the
highway and take whatever comes your way!

You’ll be able to drive the 2013 SRT Viper in Forza Horizon when
the game is released on October 23! Stay tuned throughout the summer for more profiles on the cars of Forza Horizon and be sure and tune into the Horizon “
Cars” page to see a running list of all the cars in the game.
